    Reporting to the Team Lead/Sales Manager, the Product Specialist is responsible for the promotion and achievement of sales targets and competent implementation of sales strategies for the assigned Product Portfolio, within the assigned area in order to attain sales volume, customer growth and customer satisfaction, in line with agreed commercial plans.

    Responsibilities & Accountabilities

    Sales Targets
    •  Under the supervision of sales management, responsible for implementation of a key sales plan for customers in the allocated area
    •  Achieve business results and sales quotas for the respective products as per the sales plans
    •  Work with Team Lead/Sales manager in implementation of product sales and marketing strategies
    •  Monitor sales against forecast and participate in determination of market potential for assigned geographical area
    •  Ensure the product mix of sales is aligned to the cycle plan, as agreed by Team Lead/Sales Manager and defined annual objectives for individual, sales team and the BU

    Customer Relationships
    •  Prepare and implement call cycle for Key Customers and Distributors (where required) and agreement of the call cycle with supervisor (e.g. frequency, customer, etc.) prior to    implementation
    •  Conduct visits of key customers as per the Call Cycle, and deliver effective sales presentations, provide technical and administrative product information and/or    demonstrations, and provide appropriate pricing information, in line with the relevant product promotional program and as per SFE guidelines (KPI: minimum of 90% of scheduled    calls each cycle)
    •  Regularly evaluate each customer, according to prescription potential/sales for respective products
    •  Review and revise call cycle in line with customer evaluation, and with agreement of supervisor

    •  Maintain, develop and consolidate relationship with all relevant and important functions in the healthcare system and at hospital level (where applicable)

    Required Competencies, Qualifications and Experience

    Purpose of the Role

    The key objective of the role is to provide scientific, clinical and therapeutic area expertise and medical and scientific support for the allocated NewBridge marketed products in the country.

    The individual engages in scientific exchange with in-country medical and scientific experts, including Healthcare Professionals and end users, consistent with the objectives of Medical Affairs Function, and NewBridge overall.

    Responsibilities & Accountabilities

    1. Engagement with Key Opinion Leaders
    · Provide fair and balanced information on the benefits and risks of products, therapeutic option and disease state
    · Obtain feedback and advice about company products or pipeline through peer-to-peer interactions and advisory boards and communicate relevant information back to internal stakeholders
    · Facilitate initiation, development, and ongoing maintenance of centers of excellence, and programs to develop speakers from these centers to support broader education needs
    · Train and develop speakers on the company’s products and manage the related speaking engagement schedules
    · Successfully connect opinion leaders globally or locally to serve as advisors, investigators, expert guest speakers, or business development partners

    2. Science & Research
    · Act as a conduit for unsolicited, investigator-initiated research proposals by facilitation proposal, advice on the mechanics of the application guidance, and act as a conduit to senior management, for the publication of studies
    · Facilitate research and reports of on label use of products demonstrating cost benefits, LOS, and other outcomes.
    · Increase knowledge in the community of product of pipeline research activities
    · Maintain Scientific Expertise of Products and Disease States
    · Keep abreast of cutting edge research and literature in therapeutic area
    ·  Attend scientific meetings and symposia
        • Provide synopsis of information presented to internal colleagues
        • Gather competitive intelligence and report back to NBP

    3. Provide Scientific Information and Education Support
    · Discuss disease state or product information through peer-to-peer interactions with opinion leaders for -on label use
    · Answer questions on appropriate off-label information in response to unsolicited questions
    · Recommend, recruit and train participants for speaker bureau providing support with informational needs of speaker and faculty
    · Deliver presentations to the health care community and purchasing/formulary decision makers
    · Support medical or scientific activities at conferences or meetings
    · Conduct medical educational training for internal partners.
    · Provide scientific support to commercial, marketing and Medical Affairs , including training, medical writing, education and other scientific projects
    · Regularly collect and interprets medical insights and feedback gathered from scientific exchange with opinion leaders and communicates relevant information to internal stakeholders in order to define, update, and support medical strategies

    4. Support connections to external medical and research community
        · Manage NBP engagement with clinicians and academics conducting research into NBP products, including:
          • Participate in the assessment of clinical evaluation protocols;
          • Determine and negotiate appropriate mechanisms to provide equipment or other forms of support
          • Administer study documentation, including research and supply agreements, insurances and liability issues, and submissions to IRB etc.
         • Monitor compliance with regulatory guidelines in investigations of off-label usage
         • Support and encourage the publication of study outcomes in the peer reviewed literature
         • Evaluate, design and co-ordinate opportunities for post market clinical studies on current portfolio

    Purpose of the Role

    The Market Access Manager is responsible for designing, developing and implementing activities that enable NewBridge to realize the maximum commercial potential of current and future products in the Saudi market. The individual and the activities they undertake should enhance the effectiveness of sales and marketing activities and further develop the reputation of NewBridge as a credible pharmaceutical organization bringing high value products to stakeholders in the relevant market and facilitate market access for the broader NewBridge portfolio and to promote the concept of One NewBridge both internally and externally.

    In addition, and in most cases, the Market Access Manager will also be personally responsible for meeting defined financial KPIs in relation to To-Market and In-Market Sales in their defined markets.

    Responsibilities & Accountabilities

    Market Access

    · Develop detailed and up-to-date knowledge and understanding of the relevant market including socio-political issues, economic, governmental, regulatory which may impact market access and NewBridge’s ability to penetrate the respective market so as to support accurate and realistic business planning.
    · Collaborate closely with the General Manager to define realistic annual To-Market sales targets and appropriate marketing strategies for KSA based on local market knowledge, innovative thinking, expertise and data to maximize growth opportunities across relevant brands within each allocated BU.
    · Complete a documented Market Access Mapping initiative for KSA and BU to identify product specific opportunities to increase market access over the short, medium and long term. Examples include, formulary approval in the respective market for the product(s), and enlisting of products in the country MOH and institution(s) and approval in the private Market (insurance companies) and in collaboration with commercial leads on the ground, and in line with the overall strategic intent of the different BUs
    · Devise a documented strategic plan to convert such opportunities into reality through e.g. the identification of actions to be taken such as development and maintenance of key relationships and networks with key opinion leaders, government agencies and payers and through supporting medical and scientific initiatives as well as frequent and constructive field visits with key decision makers and committees within the sales area and buying organizations for hospitals, etc. Classify and prioritize such opportunities and associated strategic plans with the relevant BUs and incorporate the same into SMART annual objectives and implement accordingly.
    · Communicate and collaborate with colleagues in other BUs in the market in respect of the plans referred to above to ensure consistency in approach/representation with external customers and to promote the ethos of NewBridge both internally and externally.

    Sales and Sales Management
    · Achieve annual To Market and In Market Sales target for the respective market in relation to each assigned BU and in cooperation with BU heads and cross-functional teams, through the effective management and execution of account activities as per the Plan agreed with the General Manager.
    · Develop and implement Key Account Plans with sales team for the assigned accounts/therapeutic area for a given geographical area.
    · Allocate financial resources according to business/account plans
    · Close monitoring of sales up-take and metrics to ensure delivery of profit.
    · Participate in the negotiation and preparation of bids, tenders, awards and/or quotations for hospitals/key accounts in cooperation with the management team.

    Customer Relationship Management
    · Build and manage strategic customer alliances and develop long term customer relationships to achieve key customer satisfaction goals that deliver on both the customers’ and the Company’s objectives.
    · Identify and leverage the influence of KOLs in the given geographical area
    · Analyze account(s) and assist with development of the account plans (which should include sales, market share, required resources, etc.) in cooperation with each relevant BU.

    People Leadership (Team work):

    Other
    · Support cross functional activities including Regulatory Affairs, Medical Affairs, etc. for allocated BUs.
    · Design and forecast commercial activities for payers and relevant stakeholders.
