    Purpose of the Role
    The primary purpose of the Accounts Receivable will be to process and reconcile all incoming payments and provide customer service relating to invoicing queries, account status, and payment history in the goal oriented Finance Function.

    Responsibilities & Accountabilities

    • Accurate and detailed recording of purchase invoices in the accounting system
    • Conduct distributors’ account reconciliations on a weekly and monthly basis
    •  Provide customer service regarding collection issues, customer’s dispute account adjustments, etc.
    • Analysis and resolving of account irregularities and discrepancies and short payments.
    • Monitor accounts, and maintenance of customer files
    • Upkeep and maintain accurate Commission payable list and improve commission payable records by:
         o Tracking every transaction back to the customer, invoice, commission rate applied at the time and Invoice amount applied to it.
         o Identify payable/non-payable pending commission amounts based on reconciliations received from the customers.
    • Identify bank payment sources based on information from customer representatives and/or supply chain (i.e. country and customer so that the invoice can be tracked)
    • Ensure all invoicing and payment information is accurate and updated as often as required
    • Collection calls and efficiently dealing with any administrative duties required by the customer representatives
    • Enlist the efforts of sales and senior management when necessary to accelerate the collection process
    • Communicate & follow up effectively with Commercial team regarding customer accounts on a timely basis
    • Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with commercial team, distributors, etc.
    • Communicate regarding any disputes that may affect future orders

    Purpose of the Role

    The key objective of the role is to provide scientific, clinical and therapeutic area expertise and medical and scientific support for the allocated NewBridge marketed products in the country.
    The individual engages in scientific exchange with in-country medical and scientific experts, including Healthcare Professionals and end users, consistent with the objectives of Medical Affairs Function, and NewBridge overall.

    Responsibilities & Accountabilities

    1. Engagement with Key Opinion Leaders

    • Provide fair and balanced information on the benefits and risks of products, therapeutic option and disease state
    • Obtain feedback and advice about company products or pipeline through peer-to-peer interactions and advisory boards and communicate relevant information back to internal stakeholders
    • Facilitate initiation, development, and ongoing maintenance of centers of excellence, and programs to develop speakers from these centers to support broader education needs
    • Train and develop speakers on the company’s products and manage the related speaking engagement schedules
    • Successfully connect opinion leaders globally or locally to serve as advisors, investigators, expert guest speakers, or business development partners

    2. Science & Research

    • Act as a conduit for unsolicited, investigator-initiated research proposals by facilitation proposal, advice on the mechanics of the application guidance, and act as a conduit to senior management, for the publication of studies
    • Facilitate research and reports of on label use of products demonstrating cost benefits, LOS, and other outcomes.
    • Increase knowledge in the community of product of pipeline research activities
    • Maintain Scientific Expertise of Products and Disease States 
    • Keep abreast of cutting edge research and literature in therapeutic area
    • Attend scientific meetings and symposia:

       o Provide synopsis of information presented to internal colleagues 
       o Gather competitive intelligence and report back to NBP
       o Receive internal training by expert external guests and internal colleagues

    3. Provide Scientific Information and Education Support

    • Discuss disease state or product information through peer-to-peer interactions with opinion leaders for -on label use
    • Answer questions on appropriate off-label information in response to unsolicited questions
    • Recommend, recruit and train participants for speaker bureau providing support with informational needs of speaker and faculty
    • Deliver presentations to the health care community and purchasing/formulary decision makers 
    • Support medical or scientific activities at conferences or meetings 
    • Conduct medical educational training for internal partners.
    • Provide scientific support to commercial, marketing and Medical Affairs , including training, medical writing, education and other scientific projects
    • Regularly collect and interprets medical insights and feedback gathered from scientific exchange with opinion leaders and communicates relevant information to internal stakeholders in order to define, update, and support medical strategies

    4. Support connections to external medical and research community

    • Manage NBP engagement with clinicians and academics conducting research into NBP products, including:
      • Participate in the assessment of clinical evaluation protocols;
      • Determine and negotiate appropriate mechanisms to provide equipment or other forms of support
      • Administer study documentation, including research and supply agreements, insurances and liability issues, and submissions to IRB etc.
      • Monitor compliance with regulatory guidelines in investigations of off-label usage
      • Support and encourage the publication of study outcomes in the peer reviewed literature
      • Evaluate, design and co-ordinate opportunities for post market clinical studies on current portfolio

    Required Competencies, Qualifications and Experience

    • Bachelor Degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, Dentistry or other life science
    • Master Degree or Master of Business Administration is desirable
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience as MSL , Medical advisor or CRA in a MNC in the AfMET region is required
    • Previous experience as medical representative and/or commercial role is desirable in a Pharma MNC

    Job Summary:   Reporting to the Team Lead/Sales Manager, the Product Specialist is responsible for the promotion and achievement of sales targets and competent implementation of sales strategies for the assigned Product Portfolio, within the assigned area in order to attain sales volume, customer growth and customer satisfaction, in line with agreed commercial plans

    Sales Targets:

    • Under the supervision of sales management, responsible for implementation of a key sales plan for customers in the allocated area
    • Achieve business results and sales quotas for the respective products as per the sales plans
    • Work with Team Lead/Sales manager in implementation of product sales and marketing strategies
    • Monitor sales against forecast and participate in determination of market potential for assigned geographical area
    • Ensure the product mix of sales is aligned to the cycle plan, as agreed by Team Lead/Sales Manager and defined annual objectives for individual, sales team and the BU

    Customer Relationships

    • Prepare and implement call cycle for Key Customers and Distributors (where required) and agreement of the call cycle with supervisor (e.g. frequency, customer, etc.) prior to implementation
    • Conduct visits of key customers as per the Call Cycle, and deliver effective sales presentations, provide technical and administrative product information and/or demonstrations, and provide appropriate pricing information, in line with the relevant product promotional program and as per SFE guidelines (KPI: minimum of 90% of scheduled calls each cycle)
    • Regularly evaluate each customer, according to prescription potential/sales for respective products
    • Review and revise call cycle in line with customer evaluation, and with agreement of supervisor
    • Develop and manage strategic customer alliances and development of long term customer relationship, to achieve key customer satisfaction goals
    • Maintain, develop and consolidate relationship with all relevant and important functions in the healthcare system and at hospital level (where applicable)
    • Analyze account attractiveness in cooperation with Team Lead/Sales Manager
    • Make field visits and establish strong relationships with key decision makers and committees within the sales area and buying organizations for hospitals, etc.
    • Ensure all activities are compliant with NewBridge’s Code of Business Conduct, and embody NewBridge Core Values and Leadership Expectations


    • Provide market feedback to Team Lead/Sales Manager for the development of the marketing policy, recommended product and product line revisions, as well as any pricing changes
    • Provide feedback regarding product to Team Lead/Sales Manager
    • Closely monitor and report competitive activities of sales line/therapeutic area
    • Maintain a watching brief on developments within the therapeutic area and customer organizations which may affect future business and provide feedback to supervisor and marketing
    • Proactively provide improvement action(s) to enhance performance in sales and sales delivery

    Therapeutic Area Knowledge Level

    • Demonstrate a high level of knowledge on the assigned therapeutic area
    • Ensure that all information regarding respective therapeutic area and related NewBridge product(s) is fully understood

    • Collaborate with other key functions, e.g. Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain and Medical Affairs on key accounts/products
